Customization
Customize TermRock through semantic roles, density, glyph capability, motion, and contrast policy.
Customize the shared design system instead of restyling individual widgets. Components consume semantic roles and capability policy from the same source, so focus, status, selection, and responsive contraction remain consistent.
Start from a complete system
use termrock::style::{Density, DesignSystem};
let system = DesignSystem::phosphor()
.density(Density::Compact)
.ascii();Use Comfortable for forms and agent conversations, Compact for workspaces,
and Dashboard only where maximum information density is intentional.
Adapt to capability
- Use ASCII glyph policy when Unicode symbols are unavailable.
- Preserve non-color markers when reducing the palette or honoring
NO_COLOR. - Pass a motion policy that keeps functional deadlines while reducing decorative transitions.
- Keep focus and selection distinct; color is reinforcement, not the only cue.
Customize product language in your application
TermRock roles describe reusable UI meaning. Product names, commands, warning copy, permissions, and domain-specific status remain caller-owned inputs.
